I TIVO'd the G4 coverage and was going through it, when I ran across some exceptional Square-type coverage. So I rewound it, and lo and behold, the chick starts talking about FFVII tech demo. I seem to remember the tech demo being the start of the game but this stuff had all the characters, including Sephiroth and some of the summons.

I would now pay insane amounts for a remake of this game after watching that footage. Did anyone else see this? Is it maybe just the FFVII:Advent Children instead?

Probably Advent Children, but I'd agree, I'd sell my soul for a FFVII remake of that magnitude!

I saw that too. She made a mistake, that was obviously Advent Children, not a tech demo.

I was confused by that at first, too, but it was just the new Advent Children trailer. (Which does look just as excellent.)

I have FFVII/VIII in my back log but after that demo I'm thinking of trading in VII and hope for a remake. It looked so awesome.
