Ok so last night I won a bid on Ebay for a replacement Xbox DVD Rom, a Phillips drive no less. So immediatly I pay over paypal get the confermations and all. So today I check My Ebay and it says that I have not won any auctions. I'm like wtf so I search for the item I won by the item number and it shows that I won. I just sent the guy an message through ebay asking him to message me back when he sends the order. Did I just get screwed through ebay or is it normal for bids won to reset? Thanks.

1. eBay is not Wal-Mart.
2. My eBay sometimes has its hangups and you really shouldn't rely on just it for confirmation. It's a summary webpage, nothing more.

I wouldn't know but I usually ignore those msgs. I've sold all 3 pstwos online yesterday and on all 3 the same guy msgs me about ending the auction early and he would pay me 175 for one. Off course i said no because I didn't know how to end early and I wasn't sure if it was a scam for other pstwos listed after me to sell better. Anyways to make this short all my pstwos sold for $215+.

Then you have to waste another week trying to sell it. What if it's just someone selling the same item and wants more bids for their item?
There's just so many potential negatives with very little benefit to the seller to do that.

Ok Shadow it's been three days and not a word from the guy, can I bitch now. I just sent the guy a message through Ebay saying I would report him for thief if he doen't send me a message by the end of the day. Does anyone know what I have to do to file a report on this guy? Also what is the likelyhood of me getting my money back?

Finally bought a new PSP, but then pushed the demon onto someone else. Jesus.
My Thomson (finally) is on the way out I think. It reads backups wonderfully, but struggles on the newer retail games I've gotten.

It's only been a few days. There's nothing in eBay's TOS that says they absolutely need to contact you after an auction. I've received stuff after an auction is over without ever having the seller emailing me.
You can't even file a complain about it until 10 after an auction is over specifically because people like you have absolutely no patience at all. Try posting about your "problem" in the eBay forums. They'll tell you the exact same thing.
