"Everything will work out just fine," isn't a "plan." It's blind hope from a man who, previous to 2000, very likely couldn't pick out Iraq on a map. Kerry's plan is no better, and certainly no worse than Bush's perceived lack of one. We can't just pull out, we'd resign the country to chaos. But we also can't do this by ourselves, to think otherwise is selfish and, to be blunt, naive. (As an aside, to claim that we aren't by ourselves there is equally myopic. International troop contributions to Iraq is minimal in every sense of the word.)

Kerry also has credibility, something Bush threw into the global incinerator once all of our assertions about WMDs and Saddam being a threat to the U.S. turned out to be bogus.

i agree, even though i'm voting for the kerry/edwards ticket. i think dems would be lucky to walk away with a "win" in this debate. cheney's just been around the block so much, it's scary.

More than anything, the US needs a new image on the global stage. Under Bush, our credibility is damn near shot, and goodwill from other countries seems to be at a historically low level. Electing Kerry over Bush will likely serve as an effective and immediate solution to these problems.

I don't think it's possible to successfully operate as a superpower without the "assistance" and full respect of other countries -- Bush and his followers need to drop the arrogance and admit this.

At least I explained why Bush is fucking pathetic in my following post. Bush supporters throw blanket statements around talking him up, and then can never backup their claims when the time comes.

I'm not an indifferent supporter, and it is basically impossible to argue with anyone here when its 400 liberals against one person who doesn't like Kerry. Gotta love America though, where people can rip others apart and put em down as much as they can :)

Where does he discuss his Iraq policy on this site? I mean, he's got a banner add for this charming flash game but I don't see shit about Iraq. If you follow his "Defending Lives & Liberty" or "Safety and Security" links, there's nothing specific beyond "we lead the people of Iraq to freedom."

Am I just missing it?

I've been reading some conspiracy theories now that Bush possibly had an earpiece during the debates. Some proposed indications of this were the sudden "now let me finish" about halfway through the debate, when nobody else was talking, and he was right in the middle of one of his responses. Also, those blank stares and long silent pauses of his right before he started talking sort of give the impression that he was listening to somebody. Not saying that there's any validity to the rumor, but since everyone's throwing them around, here's another one.
