It's okay. I decided to hold off on Jungle Beat until its price drops. If I already had the bongos, this would be an easy purchase. But as it is, I'm just going to wait until near the end of this generation and pick up all the bongo-based games at once.

I did however pick up 3 games in Gamestop's 3 game deal. Paid $1.00 excluding store credit for Fable, Blinx 2, and Harvest Moon GCN.

i hope they don't decide to sell the standalone version for $50. though that looks likely, doesn't it. oh well. seems like something i could polish off in a rental, or perhaps fry's will sell it for $38 as they often do.

The standalone version is being sold for $39.99.

Don't expect to see all the stages in one rental unless you're awesome at action games. DKJB is a tough game, not to "beat" but to unlock all the levels.

I already have two sets of bongos, one from the JPN Konga and one from the US Konga. I'm tempted to pick up the Jungle Beat bundle because it'll be a nice collectable, but not at $60.
