I see. Another one who haven't payed attention to what Cerny really claimed and complaining about nonsense. Blurred the line between fidelity and performance of the ps5 base doesn't mean automatically fidelity+perfomance mode together. Anyway tell 1800p boost from 1440p is just visible with a side by side comparison it's really something 😆
You're delusional. You won't see a difference between 1440p and 1800p at a normal viewing distance. The fact that the pro can't get base PS5 fidelity + performance at that price tag is embarassing.

What about the price tag of the Xbox 2tb for $800?

The fact that it's on PS5 at all should be reason to be happy. The port is solid. I did experience a few crashes in the first few days of play, but I've not had any issues since. They probably could have done more with the Pro version, but I'm not complaining.

I'm optimistic about the PSVR 2 update based on the recent comments from the devs. It sounds like it just needs some extra optimisation to make the most of the foveated rendering but is essentially up and running and looking great.

I'm judging what I'm seeing. Without side by side comparaisons, you can hardly tell the difference between the base PS5 version and the pro version. Some games really take advantage of the pro but they're too rare. Cerny lied when he said that we would have fidelity + performance in one mode.
The narrative machine stays a churning.

DF says the Pro version is "slightly sharper". Seems they see the difference.

Either way, this is a cpu bound game and the Pro has the same cpu as PS5.

It's not matter to be delusional. I just said going to 1800p from 1440p with just of a 40% of more gpu power it's far from embarassing (but sure it's not always the case) and already told what's the reason because ps5 pro is priced like this. Again I never claimed the ps5 pro should be considered price worthy but I just pointed out what I found fallacy in your argumentation 🤷‍♂️

A 56.25% pixel jump is alright. Basically just a straight power boost. Maybe in 2026 they can do a PSSR2 update when that comes out.
