Has anyone ever used one of those do-it-yourself kits for highlights/streaks? I'm sick of getting charged over $35cnd to get highlights done especially since my hair is short and they only last like 2-3 months.

Are they easy to use? Is there a particular brand I should go for? Can I do it myself or do I need a second person to help?

It looked like shit when I used to do it back in highscool 5 or 6 years ago when I thought it was cool (ugh... i was such a dork).

Coloring your hair is gay weather it be a full dye or just highlights. Insecurity is the only thing i see from it

I didn't ask for your sexual preferences but thanks anyway.

The girls across the hall somehow convinced a guy to let them do it. Some things I noticed (Because it was a real event, he is clearly whipped).

His hair ended up blonde, not highlighted. They appeared to have taken too much of the hair through that crazy cap thing. It seems like there is a bit of a science to it, so a lack of experience would likely make it difficult to get the 'desired' effect.
