Do we even get arcade ports anymore?

Saw that a Top Gun Maverick arcade game looking like a spiritual successor to After Burner was launched, and I have no desire to go to an arcade to play it. But do we even get arcade ports other than emulation anymore?

My guess would be that there aren't that many games launching as arcade-exclusives left to begin with, especially if you sort out the ones relying on some sort of gimmick or control scheme that can't really be replicated on consoles.

Yeah, every arcade that isn't Dave & Buster's or something equivalent for families is pretty much a barcade now.

I miss arcades. :(

I do too. I like the barcades too tho. This one by me has a Soul Calibur 2 cabinet. They also have a bunch of consoles and a ton of old games. Last time I was there a bunch of drunk boomers were playing Goldeneye.

Still not the same as the real arcade scene from the 90s tho.

I went to a cool place in Vermont that had a whole bunch or classic arcades and some pinball games and it was an entry fee and then all the games were free.

Oh yeah definitely, I'm right there with you. I'm glad they exist to carry the existence of them at all.
