personally i'm not taking any chances. i'm getting an xps 600 soon that'll sport dual 7800GTX SLI and 2 gig 667mhz ram. if that can't handle oblivion at full specs, I will cry.

I have one of the oldest systems here at work. Its about 4 years old and has only had minor upgrades since then. I tested today with EVERYTHING turned on and maxed out. I didnt think it would do it, but it worked. And yes, it was higher than 1024x768 on a fairly dated card. Extremely beautiful. I do recommend something better than what I have here for "complete" enjoyment, but by knocking down some of the bells and whistles (and there are MANY options to play with), it is still a great time while being pretty.

Keep in mind Daggerfall and Morrowind still run like crap on the latest and greatest machines, so take this with a grain of salt.

I posted my specs in an old thread a few months ago and Stevemeister mentioned that though he couldn't talk specifics, he said that my rig smokes his workstation and that ran the game well. Essentially, he told me not to worry.

I am soooo glad this is coming out for the X360. Otherwise, I'd be forced to upgrade my video card (from my current puny 9600XT.)

So this game can supposedly run at a resolution higher than 1024*768 at full settings, on a 4 year old pc. I'm sorry, but this can't be true. That pc wouldn't even run Morrowind at those settings. Why would anyone even say this kind of bullshit?

My guess is the minimum specs will be a Pentium 4 1.6ghz or compatible, 256 ram, and a GF4 or higher. Which translates to being able to install and boot the game up.

Recommended will be closer to 3.0 ghz, 1 gig ram, Radeon 9800/GeForce FX or higher.

Well, the PC owners do get to modify the game inside and out, but I'm glad the 360 is getting it too. (my PC is junk)
