I found the game to be highly overrated. I'm all for obscure japanese games and all, but this one is just pointless.

i liked the game well enough... i just don't get what's so special about the music.

Well, there are some songs that are pretty catchy, and the style of music is unique... it's rare you play a game that features music other than electronica, buttrock, or symphonic. But a lot of the music gets on my nerves after like a minute. Then again, it fits the randomness of the game pretty well, so it works too.
