I have offered a perfectly valid argument; his legendary status is squarely a result of him being fortunate (or perhaps foresightful) enough to get on the boat at a point where less was required. The reason people play his songs to this day is because they associate those songs with games they remember fondly, not because the songs are musical masterpieces.
