I know that Sony is replacing systems with stuck square buttons, but what about systems with unresponsive (on games that rely heavily on quick button taps) square buttons. Also, is there any indication that Sony will be addressing this issue with US systems?

It's not unresponsive, it's just shy.

Mine works fine. I didn't notice 'til I read it on the interzone, but it does have a different feel than the other buttons.

Mine was unresponsive at first, but now works fine.

Unresponsive here... most noticeable in Dynasty Warriors (need to hit the right side of the button to register presses consistently).

My square button works okay as long as you only press it every once in a while.
In a game that needs rapid pressing, it's damn near useless

Noticed every now and then in Minna no Golf when I want a powershot I have to press it again because the first didn't register.

Didn't notice anything in Ridge Racers and Lumines strangely. Might try Ridge Racers again as I haven't played it in a while.

I'm thinking this could be a real issue with THUG 2. Kickflips are on square, and really, kick flip not going the instant you want can break a whole combo.
