Alright, this shit is rediculiously good and I need to hear more stuff like it. Anybody know of some bands or whatever that play 'hauntingly' good music like this also?

Yeah, the DD soundtrack is awesome...

I love Manipulated Living and Do You Know Him...beautiful tracks. Also Burn It To The Ground.

I THINK IT'S KINDA FUNNY
I THINK IT'S KINDA SAD
THE ORIGINAL VERSION OF THIS SONG
IS ACTUALLY FROM THE 80S AND SUCKS REALLY REALLY BAD

Not sure you two are on the same page -- ocelittle seems to be referring to the actual score, and Bob to the songs themselves (though I could be wrong).

Also, the original Tears for Fears version of Mad World does not suck... I'll admit, though, that it's one of a few cases in which I prefer the cover to the original.

Actually, the Donnie Darko soundtrack led me (directly or indirectly) into a lot of 80s stuff -- Tears for Fears, Duran Duran, Joy Division, New Order, Depeche Mode, The Cure -- I'd never been into before.
