Dr strange leaked trailer

That was bad. It's literally 2 minutes of Strange looking confused in textbook "weird" locations.

How very uninspiring.

I would have associated the Multiverse with chaotic imagination; not much of it in evidence in the trailer.

Have extremely low interest in Marvel shit but when I heard this was supposedly gonna be Horror I was interested.

I didn't see much horror here...

I'm fairly certain the idea to make this a horror-inspired movie got scrapped.

They were never gonna get that past the suits. Gotta make the same recycled action-comedy-adventure again and again and again.

Shame because it was maybe the only one I was looking forward to.

Shuma-Gorath.

Well I don't even need to see official trailers or look at reviews because I'm buying a ticket now.

It's not Shuma-Gorath. It's Gargantos.

Kevin Feige said he didn't want some white dude (Dr. Strange) tutoring Wanda because of current times.

The MCU has gone M-She-U(Just watch The Wasp and Ant-Man, Loki, Kate Bishop ft. Hawkeye) where the female heroes are more prominent.

Loki? The show where the most prominent female character Sylvie ends the season by potentially unleashing the biggest threat the MCU will face since Thanos? And the women who was the head of the time organization was revealed to have essentially been kidnapping countless people, brainwashing them, etc. all for her organization’s agenda and Owen Wilson calls her out on it?

That Loki?

You know, at this point, I think a series could be made where there’s a ton of female characters and one male character and all the women are psychotic and heartless murderers and the one dude is a perfect hero and yet someone on the Internet will be like, “hmm, the female characters sure got a lot of screen time, so this is CLEARLY some SJW pandering!”

The post you quoted won't age well when this movie comes out. Wanda is the 100% villain in it. The trailer is a classic Marvel misdirection.

And anyone who thinks Hawkeye is "Kate Biship ft. Hawkeye" isn't actually watching the show. They're watching agenda-driven YouTube channels who also aren't watching the show.

Yes, that Loki the male Loki moves behind of to signal the viewers he's not as brave. The Loki who has most of the answers the whole time and is waiting for the male Loki to catch up to her most of the show.

What does the unleashing of that big thread have anything to do with the male replacement that's been going on in phase 4?

You seem to forget that Disney/Marvel is doing this whole "misunderstood female villain" routine at least since WandaVision.

I'm all for more female (super)heroes, but if it's in combination with deconstructing/belittling the established male heroes then I'm down on it.

Kevin Feige is on record saying he's working towards having more more than 50% female superheroes in the MCU.

She's in the trailer. You see her back when Gargantos throws the bus.

Damn. I'm not a huge comic fan, but I swear she's at least Hulk and Thor levels of power. I swear she beat the fuck out of Thanos in the comics.

She is absolutely being set up for Marcel's all female Avengers project, which is already starting to look absolutely OP.

Probably setting her up to punch Hitler first too instead of Captain America Rogers like in the comics. 🤡

There's no "all female Avengers". Stop believing bullshit on YouTube. She's being setup for Young Avengers, that's what the D+ shows and some movies are setting up:

WandaVision (and this) setup Wiccan and Speed
Falcon and Winter Soldier introduced Patriot
Hawkeye introduces Kate Bishop
Black Panther 2 introduces Riri Williams/Iron Heart
Ms. Marvel/The Marvels introduces Kamala
Ant-Man and The Wasp in Quantumania re-casts Cassie Lang/Stature
This introduces America Chavez

And Loki and Ant-Man 3 bring in Kang the Conquerer who's a big Young Avengers villain.

The only one who's missing after that is Hulkling. With the Skrulls the focus of Secret Invasion, it's possible he'll show up there.

Wanda being the villain sounds brilliant.

Here's another trailer not pulled down yet, grab it while you can.

Is that trailer like at the end of Spiderman? The phrasing "Dr Strange will return" just seems odd otherwise.

Yes, it's the second credits scene in Spider-Man.

The first is:
Eddie Brock in a MCU bar extremely drunk before being sucked back to the Sony universe and leaving the MCU behind. He never met Spider-Man like Venom 2 tried to setup.

Sub_Level

wants to fuck an Asian grill.
Not terribly invested in the MCU anymore, haven't watched a single D+ show, but Sam Raimi directing and MVC allstar Shuma Gorath are sure to make this worth watching.

The credits scene in Wandavision is actually meant to set this up. Some people think that scene was actually filmed by Raimi.

It's Wanda going evil using the Darkhold to try to find her kids in the multiverse.

Sounds even better. I never got around to watching it as was reading reactions weekly and some people seemed very tepid over it. Perhaps now is the time to jump in, I love the Wanda character so reading the reactions was disheartening at the time and think I was busy anyway, doing what though I can't remember.

I didn't hear it from YouTube. It's been rumoured for ages and some current MCU actors have spoken out to say they're sure it will happen.

There's a huge difference between cast members wanting it to happen in press junket interviews and Disney green-lighting something that doesn't make money. After the failures of stuff like Ghostbusters 2016 and Ocean's 8 and the new leadership at Disney who only cares about the bottom line, something like that won't get made. Maybe if they could figure out a way to tie it into sports betting, Chapek will allow it. The closest you'll get to it is The Marvels, which is Captain Marvel, Kamala, and Monica Rambeau.

Hell they just re-wrote the ending to Black Panther 2 so that the franchise won't be resting on the shoulders of an anti-vaxxer that Twitter cancelled.

Ghostbusters and Oceans don't have the same pulling power the MCU has. I'm confident we'll see a A-Force film in the next few years. Disney are really pushing the strong, female characters in the MCU and a A-Force film would make billions. Trust.

If the leak where the
sir patrick stewart professor x led illuminati with potentially a multiverse version of ironman played by tom cruise
is real then this might be the craziest marvel movie to date.

The Tom Cruise thing was something they were trying to get happen before COVID. That might not have worked out due to COVID and the Mission Impossible filming. The other part is apparently true because this trailer shows the Illuminati version of Mordo.

They are trying to get Affleck back for a split second cameo as Murdock to kind of peek into that universe and close the door on that version of the character, but they don't think that he'll sign the deal because they believe he's too loyal to WB and the fact that he's in The Flash which is a similar story.

Honestly? I fear for these reshoots they are doing. 6 week reshoots aren't just some small changes. I seriously hope Disney didn't get cold feet with their original idea of turning Wanda into a villain.

The reshoots are to add more stuff, not change it. Like the Affleck cameo they'd like to do (but he'll not do it). They sent him a contract but they seriously doubt he'll sign on even though it'd be less than a minute long.

The trailer if you havn't seen it (They're rapidly pulled down) Just has her talking to Strange and whatever that alien Goliath is, it really gives nothing away at all which makes it even more exciting for me. I honestly can't wait, even with someone with Marvel fatigue. Last one I watched was the Loki series which I loved. Just had no interest in the other characters apart from Wanda but as I said the tepid reception put me off watching it but will remedy that before watching this for sure. It must be done!

What was the Affleck cameo for? Thought he was an awesome Batman but seems he got shafted from what I read, what a shame. I'm not really a fan of Justice League either so sucks we only got him in that. Still, I have faith in Pattison.

Well he was in Suicide Squad too but barely, was such a waste of a chance and a stupid scene as well.

He was Daredevil in the Fox era and a damn good one too.

Never knew that. Guess I've some catching up to do!

Never bothered with the newer Daredevil despite really liking the actor from Boardwalk.

If it has Kingpin and him being awesome, well ... got some time on my hands to give it a solid go.

Noted. Cheers.
