I think the american version of the anime has different soundtrack, I heard it once and I prefer the classic japanese one, I'm glad that seems to be in the game this time around.

I think the american version of the anime has different soundtrack, I heard it once and I prefer the classic japanese one, I'm glad that seems to be in the game this time around.

Sorta, ocean dub (the canadian/european dub) also had their own soundtrack.

But by GT funi dropped faulconer and every iteration of dragon ball afterwards they went back to the japanese track. Kai and super had some absolute bangers… But the english version of ultimate battle kind of sucked though.

That said faulconer is the epitome of 10 misses and a hit. Most of his scores are repetitive and mundane, but several of them (ginyu's transformation, cell's imperfect AND perfect themes, gohan vs freeza, and ssj3 transformation) are absolutely fire

holy!!! thats a lot of characters even if there are some duplicates, one thing I found funny of the old ones is how you could still play with some of the Dragon Ball 1 characters that of course would be completely disintegrated by the newer chars but still fun.

OG dragon ball could still be present, they just havent shown everything yet.

Right now it seems GT is taking the biggest L when it comes to representation (that or theyre saving gt for the dlc)

15 characters were revealed in the Saiyan/Frieza Saga, and 15 again in the Android saga.

And with some rough napkin math-
We have 34 slots left, Buu saga should be next.
If there are another 15 shown we'll be left with 19 slots.

Throw in a Super trailer w/15 characters and that only leaves 4. Not enough for DB or GT. I wonder how many are missing from the Tournament of Power.

DB and GT will probably be DLC.

Perfect.

Nothing pisses me off more than Goku not having a period correct gi.
Burst Limit just had him with one gi design and never updating from Kame.

It's also important to differentiate the hair design of Super Saiyan during Namek saga (whiter, more solid) and the later ones (more yellow and with sharper chunks of hair)

That's why Budokai Tenkaichi 3/Sparking Meteor is the best.

Also my almost 100% guesses are Kid Goku, Cooler, Janenba and the original Broly from the movies. For the rest I would love to see Grandpa Gohan, the main characters and villains from Dragon Ball GT and finally other villains from the movies.

The Budokai series was a 2D fighter (like Mortal Kombat or Street fighter) and the Tenkaichi/Sparking are 3D fighter where you control the character like the robot from Zone of The Enders (moving in all directions and up/down in a 3d arena)
