Oh stuff like Super and Daima have a lot of problems, but it is nice to have Toriyama finally give Vegeta a W considering he should've been the one to beat Frieza in Resurrection F.

If you think Vegeta barely getting a win is bad, imagine how Trunks and Goten fans feel when they are taking decades to make them age by 1 year.
People might complain about Boruto, but I give the creator infinite praise for being bold enough to not only move things forward for a new generation, but also start the show off in a time of peace so that you got to see the original main cast rest for a bit as adults and parents and have a good time (at least until newer problems started to arise).
That's why I really liked Super Hero, we finally get a bit of a time jump with Pan as a toddler and Trunks and Goten as teens.
To balance that, Beast Gohan still looks stupid.

That's the 1 year I'm talking about. Maybe it's 2 years at most, but keep in mind Goten and Trunks were stuck at age 13/14 for the entirety of DB Super up until literally just this recent movie, to which they finally look 15/16 now.

You don't have to destroy the franchise by watching it, mate.
Do you really think that enabling Toei to tarnish the franchise won't change the general look on it in the longer run? Google graphics will be full of images from Super, Daima and whatever else their greediness makes them create.
Google search results will be full of topics about modern DB, not og/Z.
Basically, Dragon Ball, as most people remember it, will be gone.

What age did he start watching? I was 10 or 11 when I watched DBZ and absolutely loved it. I've now got a son and want him to watch it at some point.
I think he started around 7. OG Dragonball is my personal favorite but it was a bit perverted with Master Roshi and Bulma so I just skipped him direct to DBZ.

Personally I’d skip to the red ribbon arc or even the second martial arts tournament (the latter in particular since roshi’s a lot less creepy at that point)
Og DB was at its peak when it focused less on the parody aspect and went more into the action-adventure oriented scene
Granted my favorite arc is the 3rd world martial arts tournament but damn if goku vs piccolo wasnt a fun fight.

Oh and the final battle was one of the best fights to happen in any Dragon Ball series. including Z Cell and Buu arcs.

IMO it did.
The tournament of power arc was kinda fun, and the superhero movie was decent too in that at least it didn't focus on Goku and Vegeta (but recycling Cell after already recycling Frieza in an earlier arc was lame) but everything else just felt half assed and uninspired.
The new transformations and powers are boring. Goku going SSJ the first time and Gohan going SSj2 had proper build ups. SSJ god is literally them holding hands lol, and then they learn SSJ Blue off screen.
The 2 story arcs they haven't covered in the anime are terrible too. The Moro arc had an interesting premise but it keeps getting worse and worse as it goes on, and the Granolah arc might be the worst arc in all of DB (including GT)
This is exactly the type of answer I expected from a childish Super fan, which basically boils down to: "I think that few "hype" and fanservice moments = good show as a whole." - which I've already mentioned here, but I'm fine repeating it.
Also, "the whole WoRlD" - is just delusional to a levels that even I didn't accuse Modern DB fans of having, but from now on I will.
