DRAGON QUEST III HD-2D Remake - Launch Trailer

Danny Dudekisser

I paid good money for this Dynex!
That music is soooooo good. It's just the seafaring theme from DQVIII.... right?

Anyway, misgivings about the changes they've made aside, I'm really excited for this.

We are getting none stop quality JRPG this year and for next year we already have Xenoblade X to look forward.

Have to finish DQ8 on the 3DS first, then DQ5 on the DS so i won't be picking it up day one.
But it looks really delicious.

Really love the art style and pseudo animation in 2D-HD. I wish they would go back and do the other DQ games.

Also would love a CT remake done in this style. I can’t believe it hasn’t happened yet.

I was going to get Metaphor to play next and then go to DQIII HD… but I am really not so sure anymore.

I am kind of leaning toward DQ now since it’s pure nostalgia, lol.

Would love a ff6 done that way. It's gorgeous, I prefer this than 3d.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.

The first and second game are next up. I imagine if the reception to these is good, we'll see the Zenethian trilogy next (IV, V, VI). This game in particular seems like it was in development for a long time, but now that the engine is there it's just a matter of plugging in the elements of the other games. Still no small feat, but a good portion of the dev legwork is done now - which also means that the dev costs, and therefore risk, is much lower for the other games.
