I didnt like the first game but im excited to try the second game, Capcom improved a lot these past few years and im sure the game will be worthwhile.

Sadly this is only a trailer event and no gameplay is shown.
So far only this and MGS3 reveal are worth a thing to me. (FF16 was already shown)

the new races were in the first draft of the first game, you can see them in the design works

Looks like a prettier Dragon's Dogma 1. Shame it only had like 10 seconds of what passes for gameplay. Vaporware until further notice. A lot of what what I'm seeing seems like a bunch of reused designs but are just very graphically intensive. Cautiously optimistic.

Hope the story is different. Doesn't seem like it though.

Was the target platform PS4/XBO? Because man that's not looking too great.........

Still it's Dragon's Dogma 2, so it's automatically on my most anticipated list.

Though I gotta say, I was expecting some stuff they left out of DD1 like VERY large creatures roaming the land, maybe an expanded map, multiple cities and towns, more visually interesting overworld. This looks a bit too 'been there, done that', but maybe that's just me. At least some of those creature designs looked pretty awesome. We better have Bitterblack Isle-like on day one tho.

This looked a bit rough, are they using the DD1 engine?

DD1 was fun. Not exactly a masterpiece but it was good fun so I hope this will be in the same category at least.

Could not get into DD, traversal and navigating the map was a chore. Mechanically this looks the same but using the RE engine. Need to see more of this to be sold, but easily the most impressive game at the showcase.

For the folks who say it looks bland, that’s exactly what everyone said about the first game when footage and screenshots debuted back then.

Gameplay is what rules the roost when the dust settles. Dragon’s Dogma stands the test of time because the combat fundamentals are solid. I expect this will extend to the sequel.

While Im really happy for dragons dogma fans, I have to say this looks really rough and janky....like underwhelming even by late gen ps4 standards in visuals and polish.

Expected this to look better to be honest with how long its been since the first game. It looks very similar to the first game maxed out on PC, with slight upgrades.

Still its a game that i'm looking forward too.

It honestly looked like Dragon's Dogma Remake or Reimagining. Which would sit just fine with me as the first game was like a year or so of development time and money from being the best game ever made but was unfortunately pushed out too soon and was instead a great game with great ideas that weren't all executed as well as they could have.

make sure the pudding isn't too soggy but that just ruins everything
At first it felt so familiar/iterative I thought it was sime kind of remake. This is obviously DD 1.5 but I'm fine with that.
