Dragontwin is an upcoming open-world RPG/Strategy game in which the player shapes their destiny as a Dragontwin, a legendary mortal soulbound to a powerful dragon.
Wasn't there another shaky indie studio making a Not-Lair game recently? And the pitch trailer for that was just as iffy?
"The focus at this stage is on the tech and systems needed to bring this concept to life"
"The full scope of the game will become more clear over time, as it depends on future funding…"
uh idk these sound like pretty big red flags to me. This says to me "we don't have a working title beyond a demo, and we don't know what kind of game this idea is actually going to be because we don't have money or a team yet to do it"
Fake edit: Yeah here we go. I knew I remembered something like this recently. What are the odds two games with very similar concepts pop up at virtually the exact same time?
