I think I'd prefer not to have the cartoon outlining, but maybe they gave that a try and it didn't work so well. Looks interesting, would need a long-form gameplay video to get a better sense of what this is though.

Dream Cycle is an action-adventure game by Lara Croft creator Toby Gard. Take the role of modern-day arcanist Morgan Carter and walk the planes of the Dreamlands, a twisted dimension where the souls of the living are trapped in eternal nightmare. Explore diverse dreams, and by understanding the events that transpired, free the dreamers from their perpetual torment.

Dream Cycle is exiting its early access run and the full 1.0 release is now live. Players will be able to fully immerse themselves in this narrative adventure and confront the Crawling Chaos that is set to damn the world within.
