True. It looked very nice at E3 on some monster PC it was demonstrated on, and had a weird funny looking bug that had girls ponytail sometimes stuck in some mid frame of animation. The game in general had clunky animation, but it's an adventure game so who cares. I inquired a bit about hand-to-hand fighting sequences in the game, and the dev guy said there will be some that can be avoided if you play with the girl, but will be unavoidable if you play with the warrior guy. I'm not sure if you are free to chose which character you are playing, though or if it's pre-set depending on where in the game you are.

He said PC and Xbox release, and he didn't know if the next gen console versions are planned (I really hope they are after seeing how nice it looks on a high end PC)

Really? I thought there had already been a sequal and that this would be the 3rd in the series.

Fate of Atlantis handled fisticuffs decently enough, hopefully this will prove no different.

I haven't seen any, but between the facts my system is nearly four years old (and wasn't that powerful even back then) and Dreamfall looks far better than any adventure game I've ever seen leads me to believe I'm gonna have to upgrade.

Those and the $50 price point.

And even if Dreamfall doesn't require anything all that powerful, a lot of recent adventure games, which aren't exactly a power-hungry genre, still won't run on my computer.

Loved the longest Journey and this is looking great. Hopefully it's going to be a good as its predecessor.
