You do not want drowning. It's not as simple as you think it is.

That's what I would do.LakeEarth said:If I was forced, buried alive. At least I'd have a chance to Kill Bill v2 my way out of it.
I've had a scary incident as well. I was probably 7 or 8 when we went to a waterpark, and we were in one of those giant wave pools. I had an inner tube and for some reason decided to try to use it "upsidedown." So I fall into the thing face-first, then soon realize that I'm stuck and can't get out or flip the tube over. I was struggling for what seemed like forever when my father finally pulled me up. I'm sure I was only stuck under there for a few seconds, but it felt a hell of a lot longer than that.Cherubae said:I've almost drowned as a toddler. Drowning = lungs fill with water, asphyxia due to lack of oxygen.
Burning = fire eats up oxygen, asphyxia by smoke inhalation.
Buried Alive = lack of oxygen, buildup of carbon dioxide, inhalation of dirt/soil, asphyxiation.
You guys picking "buried alive" are nuts. That one'd probably take the longest.

Inumaru said:What's scary is that's probably part of a larger collection of "art". Not even made specifically for this thread, you just pulled this out of a pile of "death machine" drawings you keep with you at all times. Am I right?![]()
Seriously, though, that's pretty funny. I'll expect more of your fine artwork in inevitable future threads like "Drawn and Quartered, Scaphism, Brazen Bull, or Death by a Thousand Cuts?"![]()

oh: drowning.
DarthWoo said:I'm still trying to figure out what the heck happened to TTOB that made him stop drawing, especially after something he said in another thread. All I know is what I saw in a limited sample of his drawings, but he seems to ignore all inquiries as to what happened, and that only furthers my curiosity.

DarthWoo said:Is the belgurdo on deviantART the same as you? I noticed one belgurdo having visited my gallery not too long after I had made a post about my dA gallery here, so I was just curious.
lockii said:Some fun trivia re: Being buried alive.
There used to be bells that rested above graves with a string leading down into the coffin, which the person inside would pull if they were actually still alive. This spawned the phrase 'Saved by the Bell'. A person would be employed to listen out for those bells. This spawned the phrase 'The Graveyard shift'.
