DS is pissing me off...

Two points of contention:

1) The fucking buttons are so goddamn small, was it too hard to include 4 GBA-buttons on the the thing?

2) What moron greenlighted the ridges that go around the DS (the silver part pretrudes past the black base), it hurts my hands after a while and leaves impressions on them to boot.

BAH.

15/3. Third party games will be AUS$80rrp.

What’s your source?

And dam the games are pricey, I am still waiting for Australian Game prices to match the dollar.

We should be paying like $30 less per game, I will be happy with a $20 drop because of shipping etc..

I don't find the buttons to be a problem, but the edges part I totally agree with. The DS is extremely uncomfortable after only 20-30 minutes, maybe even less.

I just don't like that tiny stylus pen. That thing makes my fingers collapse in on themselves. I can't wait to purchase that bigger NDS stylus pen.

Now see, this is where I disagree, I got completely comfortable after 20-30 minutes.

I wish Nintendo gave us a PAL release data so i can get pissed off as well
It's not PAL if it doesn't go through a TV. Simply a European release. \Smartarsecunt mode

The system is not godly in terms of comfort, but it does get the job done nicely over-all and having 4 face buttons + 2 shoulder ones seems to me a good decision.

I agree that they could have surely put bigger buttons, there is space on the DS' face, but these buttons are not impossibly tiny and at least let's mention the great D-Pad.

This is just out of curiosity, but how do most of you put your thumb over the buttons? My thumb is huge 'i'm 6'5"' and I think the buttons are fine.

My only guess is that you use the tip of your thumb and are trying to press one button at a time. I tend to use it more like a d-pad with the pad of my thumb in the middle of the a and b buttons. So all I have to do is rock my thumb left for a, and right for b. then for x and y i just do the same thing but on those buttons obviously.

I always just assumed thats the way everyone did it.

Today I saw some rappers playing Madden DS on BET during one of the shows they had.

I think that automatically means it's now mainstream, right?

Not only that, but it guarantees the DS a prime spot at next year's SpikeTV Urban Awards Show Featuring Some Video Games.
