Help me GAFfers, help help me GAFfers.

The DS Lite is 3 weeks away, my existing DS is being auctioned off to some schlep on Yahoo Auctions Japan for more than I bought it for (HAR HAR HAR), and I want my Lite. The problem is this:

Bic Camera: No Preorders
Yodobashi Camera: No Preorders
Sakuraya: No Preorders
Tsutaya: No Preorders, but maybe later

This is kind of a WTF move, as I've preordered all my Nintendo hardware at Bic and everyone else goes to Tsutaya. Anyone got another preorder source?

I think since NOJ have released all the info on it now stores will start preorders soon enough.

I think it's because they don't know how many they'll be allocated yet. Give them a week, at least. Or try your local shop. Local shops always come up with the goods.

if you do get a DS Lite, be sure to disable the wi-fi networking capability before you bring it aboard the Battlestar!!

Looks like Play-Asia has preorders up for all 3 colors already (link), although I'm guessing you're looking for walk-in stores in Japan.
