Square Enix is releasing Slime MoriMori: Dragon Quest 2 for the DS on Dec 1st 05 in Japan.

if you haven't seen it, it's a nice website [flash] with some updates.

the game looks great! :D

Sorry, Ouendan, you have 3 months left of being the best DS game ever! :D

BTW, for those who are interested in that kind of thing, the subtitle has the usual DS pun.
"Daisensha & Shippodan".

Holy crap. Giant slime-shaped, slime shooting tanks.

C'mon Squeenix, bring this one over!

Listen to the fella. We missed out on the first, don't make the same mistake twice. (and license out those awesome Slime plushes as well, I'd buy a dozen)

This game looks great! Can't wait to get my hands on it. Stupid DS with its millions of awesome games....

On a side note, anybody know a good place to find the first GBA Slime MoriMori? Play-Asia has it listed, but I got stung by Customs the last two times I ordered from them :(

I've never been caught by the customs when I've ordered from Lik-Sang.

EDIT: Was caught a couple of days ago though when I ordered from Play-Asia.

MamaSmurf: The first game is playable if you download a walkthrough. The brunt of the game is action RPG puzzle solving, if you get used to the game's mechanics, it shouldn't be too much of a problem. There's a story with cut scenes, plus letters you get from slimes you rescue, but it doesn't really need to be understood to get enjoyment out of the gameplay (though I'd really wish AGTP would hurry up on their translation!).

thor: I got my copy of Slime MoriMori 1 from play-asia without a problem. Actually they delayed the order a bit and I had to wait a week extra...

Oh good to hear :) Perhaps I can ask them to mark the parcel down for Customs just in case. Just as a point of curiousity, do you live in the UK? I think our Customs people here are pretty keen on snagging stuff, I never used to have these problems when I lived in the States.

does anyone happen to know if there's an english patch for the first Slime Mori Mori game on the GBA?

Dunno about Playasia, but NCSX are great about marking down the price on the parcel.
