This is awesome. I found my PS5 by buying a bundle with an extra controller, it's still in the box.

Sorry for the stupid question but what does this do exactly? Does it allow the dualsense to be recognized as a universal controller working on everything like Xinput controllers?
Because I only read stuff like "improve performances" but I don't really understand what this means for a controller.

Stability

That's good for my PC-centric Dualsense, so I don't need to keep re-pairing it to my PC after I connect it wired to the PS5 for updates.

I would like rumble support for PS3 when the controller is paired.

not gonna happen. the controller is recognised as a generic direct-input controller, and therefore the PS3 only uses the most basic features available

they would need to update the PS3's firmware to natively support the controller, and that's not gonna happen.
they don't even support the controller on PS4

Glad to see Sony supporting PC more… I'm assuming we'll see more first party games make their way to PC as well.

Now give us the possibility to download game updates on PC and install them via USB.
I really wish it was a standard thing for all consoles like it was possible do this with the Xbox 360 (titles updates). It's an awesome future.
