Dune: Part Two coming to streaming on April 2nd

I've never done it, but I might rent this and watch it in VR in cinema mode to try and replicate the IMAX experience. If anybody has used VR to watch 2D non-porn movies, I'd be curious to hear your take

Tbh, they don't really have the resolution to be a great experience yet. Maybe in the next few years. Yeah, it's kinda neat to have a large screen, but it's at the cost of resolution. I'd still prefer a 4K stream on a decent television until VR headsets can do higher res in cinema mode.

I saw people in the theater watching it this weekend. We rented a theater for my son's birthday I snuck into dune 2 waiting for his party and watched the battle scene.

So it wasn't a success???

And Oppenheimer for when?
Oppenheimer's been on streaming since November & Dune 2 is a success, it's about to end its theatrical run with $700M+, WB is putting it on streaming too early.

This got me good, bastards.
if this is an April fools "prank" I hope you get permabanned.
Lol I didn't post this as a fools joke, it was tweeted on the 31st with a streaming date set to a day after April fools, so I'm assuming it's not a joke. Either way, it's hitting streaming this month.

I need to find the time to catch this at the cinemas while it's still showing 😭

Its still in theatres and not out of their 45 day window yet.

Its a very poor joke.

Guys it's not a joke lol, it's hitting PVOD tomorrow unless WB changes the date like they did with Barbie & Wonka. WhentoStream's a VERY reputable source that knows this kinda stuff ahead of time.
Hah I missed the cover showing up on the linked page.

I like it for slasher movies like Friday the 13th. For a movie like this it's hard to beat an OLED TV.

It's D-day for you, my friend.

Meh I'm going to see it a second time in the theaters tonight, this time taking my dad. He's wanted to go but had nobody to go with

So soon? It feels like i was yesterday in the cinema. Did it flop?
These $20 rental releases are hardly indicative of a flop a month in. Everyone is experimenting with making money on home releases with different timings.

The Beekeeper made bank for Amazon being on $20 rental for like 2 months straight topping rental charts and still isn't on Prime Video as an example.

Dune 2 is doing extremely well either way in theaters.

Yeah I rewatched it two days ago and the theatre was quite packed.

Theater tonight was almost full- granted it was a smaller one with the big reclining seats, but only a couple open on a Tuesday night. Even had an obnoxious overly excited nerd girl who clapped more than a few times.

And here I am after April 2nd sitting like a fool in front of my smart-tv trying to find where to rent it.

Thanks, OP!
