I wouldn't say it was that bad. The original movie was nothing to get excited about and the voiceovers were better than your average dub of an asian film. A lot of peoples gripes about it seemed to be that it was presented dubbed in the first place.

Ooo, I just got a shipping notice from Amazon UK about my copy of Shane Meadows' Dead Man's Shoes. I'd forgotten it was even coming this week! Nice bonus.

Personally I thought it was bad because it was...you know...bad. It seemed like it was a horrible movie in the first place, then edited for MTV(in script and in the actual scenes, although I've never seen the original nothing seemed to go as it was intended). And when you take something horrible, and then let MTV take a stab at making it worse, you end up with an incredibly shitty piece of film.
