Hey guys, Dying Light 2 is officially coming this Winter on December 7th 2021, with 4 player coop! New Zombies, New factions, etc, etc. Check out the new gameplay that Techland has shown! Enjoy. Also it seems that you also get turned/infected. Wonder how that is gonna work out?

Man, you have to have a lot of confidence in your story/gameplay if you make a zombie game in 2021 and bring absolutely NOTHING new to the table. Factions, scarce resources, ZOMBIES AREN'T THE ONLY ENEMIES - WAT ABOUT HUMANS?

Full disclosure, I haven't liked one of these FPS zombie games since Dead Island 1. I assume this is going to have co-op still? That's always a fun time waster if nothing else.

It was too dark, like the moon had been blown-up dark, combine that with fast zombies you can’t see and it’s just not fun, and not even needed since you can sleep til morning.

Ouch. There is no way this game can look like this at release time. I don't see any of the standard rendering features that adds polish to the overall visual fidelity.

It was too dark like "there is no electricity during the apocalypse" kind of dark?

The game was even more fun during the night. You had exp boost to make it more rewarding, faster zombies ...

And not being able to see very well was kinda the point. Traversal becomes way more chalenging.

The game is survival horror at night and mindless fun during the day

To be honest I don't know why they expanded in the story side instead of the gameplay side that was the most fun part of the game. Like yeah, first game story was trash and characters were forgettable, but going all-in on deep story RPG-esque and not expanding on its strenghts is a miss for me.

I'll wait and watch before biting because something shady happened behind the scenes with this game.

It just looks really last gen in gameplay and design. I actually do hope I'm wrong.. I'm sure the game won't be bad but I think it's going to get lost amongst other releases being just your average zombie survivor.

I like the way traversal and combat looks. Hopefully scripted events where control is taken away from the player amid gameplay are kept to a minimum.

Nah game looks fine, and the level of games we are getting now. Also for whatever reason, the quality on this vid is 30fps. Do a Youtube search for their last presentation they did where the gameplay was 4k/60, it looked a lot better.
Even the first game still looks good imo, on PC anyway.
