How much demand do you guys think there is for high quality versions of these conferences as *free* downloads, at this stage? We are considering whether to include them uncensored in our imminent "Ultimate Video Coverage" E3 feature, but it's a lot of extra work for stuff that most hardcore users will already have seen, it's the direct gameplay etc that makes the feature after all...

Uncensored? You mean, like that 5 minute long green screen on the Xbox press conference that said something like "proprietary information"? I'd like to know what was said there. I personally was very interested in the full conferences, and had to get them off IGN Insider. 1.3GB for the Sony conference! 900MB for the MS. I'm happy I got them. It's silly to hear MS say that they aim to sell 1 billion Xbox 360s, and to witness those paid 20-something hipsters cheering after every word out of whoever was on the MS stage. I really want the GDC videos for download (as opposed to stream), but I know only GDC has rights to those, and don't give them out for free. But I digress. Anyway, if you had that 5 minutes of censored video on the MS press video, uncensored, I'd be fairly interested.

I think when they said that, they were talking about how the industry - i.e. next gen as a whole - will broaden the global audience to potentially 1bn. Not Xbox 360. It's just spin.

And yeah we have the bits that were censored, they'll be going up as standalone files anyway.

Well, considering the sales of the other consoles, MS would have to sell around 800-900 million consoles themselves. That's close enough to a billion, and just as ridiculous . I look forward to the censored pieces! thank you.

I also want to add that the eyetoy presentation for PS3 was pretty cool. If you cut it in pieces instead of having the entire conference for download, that section is fairly important, I feel.
