EA SPORTS FC 26 | Official Reveal Trailer

FC 25 is regarded as one of the worst FIFA/FC games in history. Broken mechanics, poor gameplay balance, and a lack of meaningful content updates made it an absolute turd. Lets not forgot the shallow and uninspired Career Mode, the stale Ultimate Team grind, and the feeling that the game was more focused on monetization than fun

Did EA learn anything? At least hey are showing actual gameplay in this reveal, previous decades it has always been a CGI/ingame hybrid trailer

Bro this trailer is peak brainrot, it's just an endless stream of flashing .5 second shots. Headache inducing.

You have to watch this fucking thing like 4 times to fully digest it.

Cannot wait to put between 1k-5k into microtransactions to have my dream team for 1 year. After this trailer, clearly telling us that they've heard our criticism, i am so incredibly pumped. This is why i love EA. They listen to their fans.

The game looks exactly the same graphically, so they're putting all their marketing into claiming they're actually making it fun to play.

Let's see how it goes. Haven't bought one in ages, the free 10 hour trial on Game Pass is usually enough to put me off for the year.

Next year when it's 80% off, I'll buy it. That's what I did with FC 25, since I only get it to play with friends, I don't really care about buying it at launch. Especially when the difference between FC 25 and 26 will be minimal.

The idea of the trailer looks good, after the mess that was FC 25 but will they actually fix it this time? In the trailer they say they are fixing bounce backs but it's like the 20th time they are saying this since FIFA 17.

Can't wait to her the new bizzare names they chose for their tech, between fifa and madden it's always a good laugh, and the the game are the exact same or worse.

The same garbage for a decade. There's not even a shred of effort to create a football game that conveys the sensations of the sport it aims to imitate... It's a disgrace.

I still occasionally put on FIFA 14 and wonder when EA thought nothing was working and needed to transform the gameplay into a game of rebounds, impossible dribbles, and always the same scoring play...

Sports games are my biggest disappointment for a decade...

Starting the trailer with the exact same match introduction commentary they have had in the past 4 games is just ridiculous tbh, it's like they don't even care any more

Lol every year, promises of revolutionised gameplay, if you believe it, more on you.
It will be the same skaty, no physics clipping mess of a game.

I recently played FC 25 demo. Was genuinely surprised that gameplay was real fun.
After 20 years , first time fifa felt good.
So definitely keeping an eye on this

They always make terrible trailers, on this one at least they're pretending to care or something...

17 was the last great Fifa and 25 was the worst.

Well, I will play it on gamepass and ps plus next year. To all the brave souls that will pre order this game: I hope they can have fun with it.

I think football games desperately need a new franchise, someone new to come with a fresh take on how football translates into a videogame. This shit is embarrassing to watch, the tone is so juvenile it makes me cringe. The game has barely evolved in 25 years, there's nothing amazing about it, not the animations, not the stadiums or the crowd, ball physics don't look anywhere close to real, not even the players themselves, of which the assets are decent but they look like lifeless puppets. The problem is football is too popular, people want their football game and sadly this is your only and default choice these days, EA gets the money and nothing changes.

Are the trailers not promising each and every year some revolutionary features, just without the "we heard you"? But people seem to dislike it every year more and lamenting the too few actual changes?

And eFootball or Rematch are no alternative because of licenses and lemming attitude?

Not my problem, bought PES around 20 years ago and did not care much for sports games since, just played this and that what was in PS Plus.

What game are you all playing to get your football fix these days?
Stopped after fifa 17 here, nowadays those games are too disgusting, who tf would wanna play as women btw, they play worse from under 15 schoolboys teams, so fk that shit.

When women national team considers boys u-15 team as good, then u know women's football at highest lvl is extremly terrible even compared to semi-amatour league of men's football.

I mean men can play terribly too, i know that as a polish guy, but there are limits of being a clown and getting money for it if u are professional player...

Anyone who buys this on release day deserves exactly what they get.

I normally get hundreds of hours of fun when buying these games day 1.

Nothing is changing this year. Loving the look of some of the updates this year. Can't wait!

I agree, EA need competition

The game has barely evolved in 25 years,

LMAO. Are you serious?

I've been playing FIFA every year since FIFA 97. To say it has barely evolved in 25 years is complete hogwash.

Go and compare last years game to FIFA 2000 on the PS1 and tell me how the game has barely evolved.

I expect nothing groundbreaking from these conveyor-belt games. Take a pause and create efootball a good soccer sim from scratch.

Exactly, maybe I'm getting old or something, but I just don't get what's appealing about these frantic trailers with endless cuts.
