Early game KOTOR 2 Help.

Finding the 3 voice samples in the first area after prologue, found 2, but I just keep running around not finding the last one.

Btw its good to see Force Speed and Flurry are still early game overpower skills ;)

Talk to HK-50 again.
The conversation tree options near the bottom. Basically y ou trick him into replaying the voice message.

I find myself playing Kotor II (I'm just a planet ahead of you MAF) and wanting a goddamn lightsaber. I'm on the second area, now.

No joke. I just reached the second 'planet' this morning. Talked to the old woman about lightsabers, and goddamn did I want a dialogue option that said "Just tell me how to make a fucking saber, you freaking zombie biatch".

Oh is that how you do that voice thing, i just blew up the terminal and that opened the door. :lol

P.s. As you are all playing through it ill just add that you should choose to go to Nar Shadaar when you leave Telos, it will really improve your experience for the rest if you do

If it's comongo-sized spoilers, I guess just PM me, but otherwise, any particular reason why Nar Shadaa should be the next location?

Because after you're done with Nar Shaddaa you'll have all but one party member (though if you're playing as a girl you'll be missing two).

It's not a spoiler its just where you are supposed to go, i dont know why they let you pick to be honest. Just a gimmick for preview writers to splooge over i guess.

Uh, no. I went to Dantooine first and had a nice little quest to put togethr my light saber. I also ran into some tough battles there becuase I was under developed force wise.

Without going into detail to avoid spoilers...i think its a pretty detrimental 'feature' to have in this game because by saying "go to all these places, in any order you like, then we'll talk" obsidian cut off any possibility of a developing overall narative because any big main plot point in between your tasks would alter the remaining tasks, so programming all the possible set-ups would be like making 4 games instead of one.

If they'd just set the planets orders, which i doubt anyone would have even noticed really, they would have given themselves a lot more breathing room in terms of developing every facet of the story not just your relationships with your allies.

I do see your point though it does allow for different playing experiences, maybe its not a case of a bad idea, just a case of a stretch too far in terms of development time.

No if you go to Korriban (the Sith Planet) first, you can get an lightsaber a lot earlier. I went to Nar Shadaa first in order to level up and partake of the awesome side quests. There is one in particular that I was able to gain a short lightsaber, before I found allthe parts to build my own. So you have total freedom where you can go, some routes are more suggested than others. I loved the sidequests on Nar Shadaa, I have a feeling that I'll be getting darkside points when I get to the Sith Academy. I loved the interactions at the Sith academy in the first game, and I hear they're pretty good in the sequel.

You can find the parts for your lightsaber in 5 minutes on nar shadaar, Heres how (From gamefaqs) :

Fastest method to assemble your lightsaber.
As soon as you leave Telos travel to Nar Shaddaa. Once there proceed into the central area and find the zoning door to the Docks. Halfway across the Docks will be a door that leads to the Flophouse. Go to the end of the hallway of this flophouse and the second to last door has a guy named Lootra. Taunt him into attacking. Also note that any characters you can have in your party at this point will lose influence with you if they are with you when you kill him, so go alone. His corpse will have a lightsaber part, there is a quest that as a reward he gives this part to you but the dark side gain is minimal even for lightside characters. Next if your alignment bar is about 25% good or bad you can return to the Ebon Hawk for a special fight which will get you the last lightsaber part. If you are not 25% good or bad there are tons of things to do in Nar Shaddaa to get the last of the points you need.(If you do not have a colored lightsaber crystal the merchant Geeda will have one you can buy so don't scare her away) Now talk to Bao-Dur to have your saber made.
