How the heck is Winning Eleven 8, a soccer game, outselling Resident Evil 4, Playboy, etc.? I mean, I'm all for it, as I'm a fan of the WE games, but that just strikes me as amazing. If these were sales for Europe, then I'd understand, but America? :-O

Who said they were, other than you just now?

In this very thread, people are using the EBGames.com ranking as an indicator of how well it's performing and my comment is merely that it's an indicator of how well it's doing on EBGames.com daily sales. A website, which accounts for < 1% of EBGames sales (for a single day), who in turn account for < 10% of US sales.

That was my only point of clarification. You may continue.

How in the world is Playboy: The Mansion categorized as a strategy game?

Are they referring to the intricate strategeries involved in separating a woman from her bodice and tunic?

Not really, but feel free to read into posts whatever helps you sleep at night. People are using the sales numbers for what they are, sales numbers from EB. I don't see what's so hard to comprehend about that that it requires some elaborate between-the-lines reading to discern true intent.

No they weren't. Go back and read all the responses before you made the comment about NPD. Nobody brought that up until you did and you know it. You just wanted to come in here and start shit because you have a problem with the chart.

Resident Evil 4 was #1 for the first week it came out, #1 for the second week, #4 for the third week, and #2 for the fourth week on EBGames.com. That's by far the longest any Cube game has stayed on the charts and its also the only to nab the #1 spot. So you'd think Nintendo would take this as a sign of the type of games that it would need to draw in new people since EBGames.com isn't the usual place you'd suspect people to be buying Gamecube games.

It's also partially a business sim.
Probably one of the few console business sims out there, that just happens to involve breasts.
