Awesome to see him get recognition. I loved Married With Children during high school (Kelly Bundy made for a great beard/crush), and still watch it whenever there's a marathon on late-night television.

The best episode of Married...with Children ever is the two-parter where No Ma'am is installing the satellite dish on the roof and they keep falling off it while the wives place bets on who will fall on who.

The second best is when they try to save Psycho Dad.

The show got so awesome in the later seasons when he created No Ma'am.

Fuck yeah, I always wondered why he never had a movie career. He had that one movie, Dutch I believe it was called, where he basically played his same type of character he always has. Married With Children was badass in so many ways. The studio audience was also one of the loudest and most into the show of any sitcom made.

Besides Modern Family and Married with Children, he's a pretty great actor in general (his guest stint on The West Wing is a good example), and seems like a really nice guy. :)

He was originally going to play the role of Al Swearengen. He later played a pretty major role in John from Cincinnati, which he was great in.

Ed deserves it. He's a very underrated actor I think. I've liked the few movies he's been in and hell he's been a TV staple since i was a kid.

It's funny because my parents hated Married with children but my dad after he retired due to his battle with cancer started watching the reruns late at night on the local CBS affiliate after the news. He ended up loving that show just because of AL. My mom got to liking it too thanks to him. I was like oh you two gave me so much shit for liking it and here you are years later seeing why it's a great show.
