EGM Rumors

Shamelessly stolen from that other board:

-Tired of downloading arcade classics (and Geometry Wars) for your 360? Well, it appears you'll be able to purchase full Xbox 1 games through Micorsoft's Xbox Live Marketplace in the near future.

-The popular PC first-person horror game F.E.A.R. will be ported to the Xbox 360 this year

-Roughly 250 hours---that's how much time The Q has logged on all the different versions of Phantasy Star Online. So yeah, you could say that I'm a tad bit excited for this summer's full-fledged sequel, Phantasy Star Universe. And now it seems that PS2 owners won't be the only ones losing their social life to this off-and-online role-playing game, as PSU will also arrive on the Xbox 360. Oh, one more thing: If you start playing the game on Sony's console, you will be able to transfer your online character----thanks to all stats and items being saved on Sega's servers----to the Xbox 360 version (which will hit a few months after the PS2 installment).

Xbox 1 games....on a 20 gig hdd?

No thanks.

Give us more classic *arcade* games please. Popular ones would help.

Although this sounds different than Live Arcade. MS better get a bigger hdd out pronto.

HELL YES BRING IT ON.

Great news for 360 fans. While my PC runs it very well, I'd probably like to give it a go on the 360 as well if they manage to throw in some bonus content.

Xbox 1 games....on a 20 gig hdd?

Couldn't they be downloaded onto on external 3rd party drive? I picked up a 100gig external HDD recently and I wouldn't mind using that a bit more...

Hey MS and Team Ninja!!! FUCKING FIX NINJA GAIDEN BACKWARDS COMPATIBILITY!!!

That is a rumor/fact I would love to see.

EGM's rumor section sucks the big one. Valve, Bioware and id developing PS3 exclusives, anyone?

it could all still happen, have they given a timeframe?

:lol

Carmack said iD is making their games on the 360 as base of development. So, he will make a game on 360, then port to PS3, but no 360 version?

Xbox360 = the platform where all shit games and all shit genres ends.

Hoping the Revolution gives us true 3D gameplay experiences because current generation of games (don't care visuals, just games) are quite boring.

3D sucks.

I'm not up-to-date with the latest on the BC situation on 360, but if it remains as was often described earlier (lots of games with framerate trouble etc.) they should really sort that out first before offering this.

I really hope PSU is coming to the 360. I would prefer to play it on that platform.

I heard this exact same rumor a few months ago in OXM,in that same OXM they reported another rumor of BioShock coming to 360. Wich is now announced to be in development for 360

No, you're boring. Tanasten sucks.

We all knew that it was basically a given that F.E.A.R. would eventually make an appearance on the Xbox 360. For starters, the developer's already have worked with the 360 with Condemned, and I remember hearing that the engines that power both games have much in common. Also, many people don't have a PC with enough horsepower to enjoy the game. Now they can, on the 360. I just hope they add a few extras, as I normally hate direct ports.

hmmmm EGM rumors that say games are going to Xbox 360? I dunno...seems fishy :lol

I'll probably pick up Fear and PSU for 360 if the come out.

Have they announced if there's going to be a fee to play PSU online yet?

this does not sound likely but i will welcome it with open arms. this would push me to buy a 360 if it didnt at the same time mean ps3 is getting it. still waiting for that must-have exlusive..

Seeing as how I prefer Microsoft's online gameplan/strategy, I may have to fork out for a 360 on PSU's release now (and the obligatory Halo 3, of course).

Though I'd imagine more will be playing online with the PS2.

Hmm.

The best rumors are missing from this thread:

The also say that Bungie next game will actually be an Xbox Live Arcade title, and that it should arrive in the Spring, in addition to a new co-op enabled Geometry Wars. As for the rest of the issue, I haven't read it yet.

Can you imagine what stores are going to have to do to clear out their gigantic Xbox game inventories?
