Electroplankton MP3s?

Anyone know where I could find some Electroplankton made songs? I know there were quite a few floating around the time of the Japanese launch... Any help is much appreciated.

Wow awesome, was that entirely made in Electroplankton or was it mixed/processed/enhanced externally?

There's little Electroplankton involved in this song. Mostly exterior Music production with some EP sounds mixed in. Nice still.

I see, I thought it was too good to be true... No sale I guess.

Haha I found another one on my HD. It's some Internet live radio from France and some guy (Eric) from Canada is live broadcasting his Electroplankton session, with the French I-DJ pitching in some samples and live-MC-ing. 16mins; hilarious! lol

edit: Naked Snake: No, its' no Tracker or whatsoever. Just like an instrument. My song above in the 2nd post ist entirely made in EP. I recorded it to PC in two "sessions". Thats what you can expect. It's kind of random and luck sometimes. Not a Music Program but a Musical Toy.

How did everyone export their electroplankton songs? My copy should be coming in the mail in the next couple days, and I'm wondering if I need any extra dongles or anything.

i just hooked up a male-male audio cable to the line-in on my pc and to the ds headphone port and opened up sound recorder in windows then mixed it with audacity.

Awesome, then I have everything I need. Thanks.

Once I start making music I'll put it up for download. :)

I'll be using Music Match Jukebox when I finally record something, I've got it totally set up though. It's easy, so no worries about that.

When you record, are you doing it all on the fly? I know you can't record, but can you replay something you just played while still in a certain part of the game? If not, I can see how it could be hard to record just what you want.

There are a couple plankton that will save sequences and loop them, I believe. Other than that, it all comes down to experimentation.

Can't record, can't track and can't make a song.

It's not a game to make music, it's a game to make sound, mess with sound. You can use Electroplankton as an instrument anytime of course.

It's nice to see a hate-free Electroplankton thread.

Nintendo put out a press release that stated that the Beastie Boys were very interested in Electroplankton after seeing it at Sundance. I'd love to hear Mixmaster Mike or Adrock mess with it.

And I disagree with this assessment. Music doesn't need to be recorded to be considered music. Guitars can't record, does that make them useless for making music? You're confusing making music with recording/producing music.

I'll use your words if you prefer. Electroplankton is not for music production. You can use it as an instrument.
You can make abstracts sounds that doesn't all depend on what you exactly do. Each plankton is seperate and you can't put them together nor they can remember what you can make them do. ...Wich renders this game only "something making sounds" = instrument.
