No but he's mentioned in at least two.Is Kendrick Lamar featured on any of the tracks?

I actually think the album is weak towards the end as it goes into the "more mature Em"Long time Eminem fan. This album is fanservice to early adopters of his style. I love the fact that the album tells a story where Eminem battles this alter ego and while his early self made headlines for lyrical content, his older self realizes the maturity and he morphs to a real lyricist. It's paying homage to his craft and his career.
9/10.
Also, the Save Me intro hits hard and if you have ever known anybody that suffers/ed from addiction, ... you can really feel that intro.
DEM LEAKS
Saying that, The Marshall Mathers LP is the best and anyone who thinks otherwise is wrong. Each Eminem album is its own thing, saying one is better than the other is a crime.
I think only 3 songs really stuck with me and I agree with your criticism of him trying to sound good rather than simply be good. That has been the feeling of his past few albums honestly. Now that the album has been out for a while, where would you guys rank it?
I like the album overall, but there are so many moments where it feels like he's trying too hard. Like he’s trying to prove how good he is rather than just making something that sounds great.
Stuff like this from Fuel:
Got the most content on the continent
And constant compliments give me confidence (I'm a)
To cross of common sense and incompetence (Uh)
I'm cognizant that conflict's a consequence (What?)
Of accomplishments and comp is no competish
I've conquered and conked 'em into unconsciousness
No conscience, I conjure this King Kong or just
Call me "Kamikaze," I'm concoctin' this (Woo, my bad)
This kills it a bit for me. It’s technically impressive, but it feels so overstuffed with internal rhymes and wordplay that it comes off as more of a flex than something that actually serves the song. This album has many moments like this and that takes me out of the experience.

I was hoping NF would carry Eminem's torch after hearing songs like this from his Search album a few years ago:
At the time he felt like a young Eminem to me, with that same hunger behind his music with obvious room to grow. He still kind of does, but instead his albums since then have been torn between singing and rapping tracks, almost like Eminem's Recovery album. It's a shame as they make his work feel disjointed.
