The whole series of Enterprise is basically a sequel to Star Trek: First Contact. That's why there were Borg.

But First Contact only fit into the Star Trek timeline AFTER. It was a paradox I know, but there's no mention of the Borg before Q took the Enterprise to meet them. Not even any sort of alluding to a superior machine force. But I can agree you're right to an extent on the sequel part. Still doesn't sit right though.

The whole 'reset' thing would have been best done if Q would have shown up and said "Ya know, this timeline is bullshit... buhbye" and then we'd be back to something decent :D

Oh my god.

I just saw Homefront and Paradise Lost from DS9. Move over Past Tense I & II...we now have the best DS9 episodes I've seen.

Absolutely amazing. Why are you guys talking Enterprise? DS9! DS9!

Read the Kirk Returns book series that shatner put out.

He actually came up with the best way to Explain Borg in First Contact.

In the Books, that attack by the borg is what freaked out the humans and put them on the path to become the empire seen in the Mirror Universe. They were attacked, so they built up their forces int eh name of protection, and became the Empire.

They never would, but Enterprise could at any time fall on this and go with it.

No more loopholes, no more screwing with the timeline.

I personally wish they WOULD do this... but they won't.

Anyway I finally watched Stormfront Part 2 last night and well... after all the temporal war stuff that's the conclusion? Ugh.

A few questions because my watching of Enterprise last season was VERY hit or miss.

There were 3 factions in the temporal war if I understood correctly:

Daniels group the Temporal Agents.
The Suliban who the temporal agents have helped previously but are still against
Vosk's people.

Ok so which group was the one who always had the person from the future talking to them/consulting them.... And was that person Vosk?

BTW I'm reading episode synposis for the upcoming ones at ST.com. I'll put them in spoiler text just in case some people want to be surprised.

This week:
Home: Once the NX-01 finally returns to Earth, the weary crewmen face repercussions of their journeys, both positive and negative.

Next:
Borderland: When genetic supermen left over from the Eugenics Wars hijack a Klingon ship, Archer must rely on their creator, the criminal Dr. Arik Soong, to help hunt them down and avert an interstellar war.

Cold Station 12: Arik Soong leads his band of Augments to a medical facility where hundreds of genetically enhanced embryos are still stored, intending to retrieve them and bring them to life.

The Augments: In defiance of their "father," Arik Soong's Augments devise a heinous plot against the Klingons which will surely lead to interstellar war.

The Forge: Earth's embassy on Vulcan is bombed, and the ensuing investigation puts Archer and T'Pol on the trail of a Vulcan religious faction hiding in a treacherous desert.

Awakening: Archer and T'Pol encounter the Syrrannites, a radical group hiding in the Vulcan desert, while the NX-01 crew contends with Vulcan power ploys.

The Soong arc sounds interesting... the one after... meh although perhaps it'll finally dip back into the early arguments made by some in Starfleet that the Vulcans were initially holding back Starfleet.
