Poor trip...he lost the girl

And all Archer needed was to get laid after all

And this was the first episode in a while that had no phaser shots

Good episode overall, dealt with some good issues

Tupal (T'pal, Tupac, whatever) kissed Trip. Has Vulcan EVER kissed another person, EVER? My eyes were like O_O. Good episode.

She's clearly turning human...and we all know she's gonna screw around with home on Enterprise anyway

Hey...me again, not talking about Enterprise.

Can someone explain to me how the Klingons looked human during The Original Series...yet Kahless...a thousand years earlier, looks Klingon? And then Worf after the TOS...looks Klingon. I don't think I've ever watched a full episode of TOS and I just watched Trials and Trivilations from S5 of DS9. This makes no sense. Worf saying they "don't talk about it" is just blah.

Weren't the Klingons covered in Enterprise a bit? What do they look like then? Does anyone have an explanation?

I didn't enjoy the Phlox storyline. From the silly blowfish face, to the "their prejudice is understandable, so I'll just let them be racist and stay out of their way and hide in the corner", it left me cold. Seemed like it was an analogous to the way muslims were treated after 9/11, but that seems to be a stupid thing to suggest, that they should just go hide somewhere and stay out of the way until people calm down and stop being racist.

The explanation is that the original series had a shit budget. That is all. Worf's line was a joke to this effect. You might as well ask why ships now don't have visible strings when they fly by. :)

Ahh...I see...so I'm supposed to pretend the Klingons look badass in TOS...I guess that will work. As long is it isn't story related...it makes sense.

O_O

...+1

I haven't been keeping up, but...man. Last I remember (second season), though, they definitely had something going on.

Well techinacly they DID add it to the story, because Bashire said something to the effect of "Was it some kind of genitic diseas?" and Work replied "We dont talk about it with outsiders" So now they need to start showing in Ent that the Klingons are loosing there badass-ness , a receding badass-ness if you will. Maybe they can touch on it, OR do what I always said, and completaly digitaly remaster and ovehaul every last OST episode, and I mean so much so that the only thing left is the astors standing there, maybe even fix those god awful t-shirts with a new Starfleet uniform design for the time, but than that would fuc with the continuity of
the DS9 epp, hmm, damnit...

In any case I enjoyed tonights eppisode a lot, I really hope the show keeps it up...

Next week starts a three-part arc dealing with the Eugenics wars aftermath, etc. (KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!).

Looks like the Spiner episodes are up next...I may watch these ones...even though I have no idea what the hell is going on in the series.

Basically, the series is the sequel to Star Trek: First Contact. It takes place between that movie and the Original Series. Right now is a good time to start as they have basically hit a massive reset button and are starting fresh with a new head writer and a better focus for the series.

It's strange. Right now, Sci-Fi television is actually good. Stargate/Stargate Atlantis is entertaining enough, Enterpise is turning into a Trekker dream come true with the storylines they have cooking, and Battlestar Galactica is excellent and much better than the mini-series.

You were right about everything except Stargate Atlantis which is the dumbest most contrived piece of crap I've ever seen.

Gotta second this sentiment. Atlantis is just SG1 in another galaxy with knock off characters. I remeber before the show came on people were comparing the cast to the Wormhole Exteme fake cast. Now I'm beginning to think that was a rip on the Wormhole extreme show.

Maybe you guys should give Atlantis time to fine it's stride... of course it's going to ride the coattails of it's predecessor... why the hell wouldn't it? SG1 consistantely tops the SciFi channels ratings and Atlantis is right up there with it. Personally I think the show is fantastic save for a few quibbles (Dr. Weir sucks and Tel'ya is boring). Dr. McKay is fucking hilarious and I like the british doctor (his name escapes me). I especially like the Genai, they are pretty ruthless.

The black man everyone at Activision can agree on
This season of Andromeda is very... different... I for one hope they don't spend the ENTIRE damn season in the Seefra system.... BTW the radio DJ looks to be
female from what they showed, do you think it's the other Trance?

Please stay away from Star Trek, Mr. Lucas. kthxbye

COCKLES

being watched
Atlantis is pretty poor. I'd expect the Scottish Doctor to get introduced as a lead regular soon with his face on the credits as his one of the better characters. The main lead is so forgettable, just a pretty face with the exact same O'Neill lines and the black guy is battling Merryweather on Enterprise for most bland Black guy in a sci-fi show.

Not sure if you saw the second show of the season but Trance was the fireball thing that the guy 'Beca was with tried to use to kill Dillion. In show three she merged with her other self, the one she was in the first two or three seasons, with the tail and blue skin. Now she's sort or an amalgum of both versions of herself. Not sure what you are talking about in regards to DJ I haven't seen this weeks show, it's on my HD though.

PS. Also just saw the latest Enterprise show and thought it was pretty good. I'm liking the direction the show seems to be moving. I hope this isn't too little too late as I have heard that the show is already canceled. It would be too bad if it actually started getting good and then it gets killed.
