First, on Thursday, March 10th at 9 p.m., be sure to tune in to FOX to catch an all new episode of "The O.C." During the broadcast, FOX will air the Episode III trailer.

The trailer will debut online for members of starwars.com Hyperspace after the broadcast (around 9:00 p.m. Pacific time). Lucas Online is pleased to have partnered with AOL and Moviefone.com to provide starwars.com readers with fast and reliable access to Episode III video content. Subscribers to AOL will be able to see the trailer at this time as well.

To see the Episode III trailer on the big screen, head out to movie theaters starting March 11th, with the debut of the new animated comedy, Robots. Featuring the voices of Ewan McGregor, Halle Berry, Greg Kinnear, Mel Brooks and Robin Williams, Robots is an animated family film from the people who brought you Ice Age, the film that debuted the Episode II trailer in theaters.

Regular visitors to starwars.com will be able to see the trailer online starting on March 14th. A large size version of the trailer will soon be made available only to Hyperspace members after that date.

I don't have Hyperspace anymore, but if I did, I'd be feeling pretty shafted right now. I could understand if Hyperspace weren't free, but it's not; you're plumping down 40 dollars a year for it and all you have to show for it are a couple of lackluster pictures and webdocs.

+ the magazine + swshop discounts/exclusives + good stuff at places like Comic Con, etc.

No longer boycotting the Wolfenstein franchise
Outside of the magazine, aren't those other things just opportunities to spend more money? I don't know, I don't enjoy spending money to be encouraged to spend more.

Well, a lot of it right now is targetted at collector's since Hyperspace people have an easier time getting the exclusive stuff you can only get at places like Celebration and Comic Con.

I can't wait for March 11th. (kinda sad since it's just a trailer, eh?)

I hope someone here hooks us up with the high-res trailer!

The black man everyone at Activision can agree on
I'll just TIVO the OC then after the show or when somebody here says it was on, fast forward through it til I get to the trailer.

Pisses me off that they show it to the world at the same time for everybody.

It's fuckin retarded. I paid 40$ for this shit.

Common, is the OC so desperate for ratings that FOX has to do it that way?.

Oh come on, this makes perfect sense. Like the trailer wouldn't have been leaked after it released to hyperspace anyway, why bother trying to keep it exclusive?

The Hyperspace subscribers are being compensated with the hi-res download, and no doubt that will be leaked as well.

There's no doubt it'll leak once it's online so it may be a tiny gesture, but it's a gesture nontheless. Only the most rabid of SW fans are paying for this service, the ones that look forward to every single tidbit they can get of "Sith" and this is one small way that Lucasfilm could've shown that they cared about their loyal fans, even if it's for only a few fleeting moments.

The only way to do this right is to see Robots in my local IMAX. You guys think it'll sport the star wars trailer there to? BTW- Robots looks fanfuckingtastic at IMAX. I seen a trailer last week when I went to see "Aliens of the Deep". It was Hi Res and everything. Possibly the best looking animation I've ever seen. The clarity was nothing short of awe inspiring.

I'm already counting down, can't wait. I really don't want to sit through the OC though, and I probably won't. But I was able to bear TRL as well to catch the teaser, I guess I can make it. :(

well, here is to hoping that Fox does it up like the superbowl this year and has the trailer in 720p/5.1.... if it does, that episode of the OC ain't going anywhere for a long time to come... if not I will just settle for the hyperspace download..

/strokes his HD Tivo.

And you're telling me you don't think it'll be leaked online before it's shown on TV?

They did this same thing for EP:2 and it wasn't leaked. They premiered the teaser trailer for EP:3 on Access Hollywood, and again, there was no early leak.
