Meet the characters and see some Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream gameplay from the isometric, narrative-driven stealth game coming to PS5 (PlayStation 5), Xbox Series X/S, PC in 2025.

WOW! The amount of work they put into some relatively simple stealth game is astounding, and the cutscenes with full face scans, mocap and great acting... daaaaamn. Wishlisted!

That looked really good.
2025 is a long way away though. It's going to get lost in the sea of releases if it's not on a wishlist somewhere.

Looks great, been hunting from the summer games stuff for narrative games like this, but couldn't find any. Which showing was this at?

I'm always in for more stealth games. I'm surprised how expensive it looked during cutscenes, usually when a game like this goes for the isometric perspective it's to hide the budget limitations.

Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream is coming on July 15, 2025.

Never heard of this, but it looks great. Wishlisted on ps5 pro for now. Discovering games like this when I would otherwise miss them is one of the prime reasons for being on this forum for me.

I am very excited for this game and it comes almost on my birthday. I think I am in, unless the reviews are really bad

I was getting kinda worried with no news since the first announcement. Good to know it's coming out so soon.

Is this basically a Shadow Tactics style game? Mimimi? That's what I got from the trailer and if so I'm fucking in. Shadow Tactics is brilliant.
Narrative stealth game more like but it looks great even on my shit tier pc and facial animations put most AAAs to shame. It's pretty amazing tbh and super well done, I'm 100% in after checking the demo:

Yea I enjoyed that. Already knew I'd buy it after the intro section. Definitely has a Shadow Tactics vibe with the way the camera functions and some other elements.

Still in.

Wowwww… so you got few nice meta human cutscenes and the. The game is basically commandos. Couldn't think of a more boring concept. Nobody will buy this

Peeps here saying its like Shadow Tactics/Desperados are overselling it a bit. It has some basic stealth stuff similar to those, but very limited in that regard. It's more of a walking sim stealth game than tactical stealth. This is 90% linear story focused so don't jump in expecting a Mimimi game.

After the demo I'm not impressed unfortunately. Too restrictive gameplay, no real systems you can use on your own accord, only context-sensitive stuff exactly where developers thought you should use it. The beautiful city becomes just a backdrop instead of a playground challenging your creativity in solving problems. It feels like a puzzle game in labyrinth-like levels with one or two solutions, tops.

At least that's the demo. Not saying they advertised it as Commandos/Desperados-like but nevertheless I expected it to be at least somewhat like it but it's in fact very far away from that.

Graphics and character performance are excellent, though. Given the studio size and budget I wish them maximum success, but apparently this isn't for me.
