The box set is long out of print (was released three years ago), but Bandai did recently release a much cheaper brick set of the show along with the movie.

The brick is kinda like the Nadesico set, it's actually 8 plastic cases that unfold, nothing really in the way of decoration, but I thought it was a good value personally, think I paid $50 for it at Best Buy.

It comes with A Girl in Gaea (the film).

The LE box? It might show up on Ebay, that'd be your best chance. I still kick myself for not buying it when it came out or waiting too late when rightestuf had gotten some back in stock last year -_-

Why is Bandai so awful with production with their products? ADV always pulls through when it comes to things like this. -_-

Bandai advertised the complete collection as being a limited print run that would be discontinued at the end of 2004.

Rightstuf used to have tons of overstock on the LE boxes (They had coupons that gave discounts on orders to people who included the box). Maybe they've finally gotten rid of all of them.

What's wrong with the Perfect Collection? It's fine, it comes with the movie, it's got all the same extras on the disks that were in the individual DVD releases, in fact it's all the same DVD's that were in the individual DVD releases. It's 9 DVD's including the movie.
