Ever had this happen to you?

So a nice, new copy of Namco Museum 50th Anniversary edition showed up in the mail today. The celophane was still sealed, and the little security tag along the side of the case was still intact. But when I opened up the case...no disc.

That's the first time I've even heard of something like that happening. Anyone else witnessed or had this happen to them?

No, but it reminds me of an incident when I worked at GameCrazy. I sold Tekken 5 to one guy, and the next day he came in wanting to return it. It was still factory sealed, and the return policy is 7 days unopened you can get your money back. The shift leader had to do the return, and as he was doing so he was looking at the plastic. It looked like it had been glued back together or something. At any rate, he gave the guy his money and he left. As soon as he was out the door, the guy I was working with ripped off the plastic and opened the game. Inside was some shitty blue-back game from 2001 or something, I forget the name. Scratched like a cunt, too. So he runs out, finds the guy, brings him back in, calls the DM on the phone... and the DM pussies out and says let him go, maybe it really was a manufacturing mistake.

It was exciting.

i had a copy of Wild Arms 3 come with a pirated disc of the same game. fun.

i remember a couple stories here where someone bought MGS3 and came with the MGS3 game disc, complete with the dvd label and all. except the game data was actually NBA2K5 or some crap :lol

I've heard of stuff like this happening before.

With my own experience though I've bought the film Once Upon a Time in the West on DVD, which has two discs. Upon opening it, I realized I had two copies of Disc 2!
