It's not a scam. I'm surprised more people haven't heard about these pyramid schemes. The organizations setting up these Free Ipod/Xbox360/PSP/DS/PS3/Whatever websites are paid by the various advertising sponsors for the deals you can choose to sign up with. The trick is that some of these deals are free or can be easily cancelled before the trial periods end. They're 100% legit, but you might find that it's harder to convince 8 people to go through the trouble to sign up on a deal based on your referral and then cancel it after, just so you can have a free Xbox360. If you have really good friends go for it, jiji got a free PSP the same way.
