Every 10 minutes Xbox360 giveaway thread

Talk about a scam. Thay may actually give away actual hardware, but that raises even more red flags. How are they making their money, and how can it be so much. I'm going to guess that every refferal that you get has to put in $20 or something like that. Sounds like a great way to scam your friends and family. :lol It'd prolly be cheaper just to ask them directly for the cash as that site would only be taking a cut of your own grifted assets.

It's not a scam. I'm surprised more people haven't heard about these pyramid schemes. The organizations setting up these Free Ipod/Xbox360/PSP/DS/PS3/Whatever websites are paid by the various advertising sponsors for the deals you can choose to sign up with. The trick is that some of these deals are free or can be easily cancelled before the trial periods end. They're 100% legit, but you might find that it's harder to convince 8 people to go through the trouble to sign up on a deal based on your referral and then cancel it after, just so you can have a free Xbox360. If you have really good friends go for it, jiji got a free PSP the same way.

Yea exactly, I also got my psp for free to. Its a 100% legit.

Grr, I still remember running around the city for a month buying Taco Bell quesadillas trying to win regular Xboxes. >:( (damn tasty food, though.) Guess it's time for me to hit the local grocery store and stock up

Well that explains that. Sounds like a great way of all sorts of illegitimate companies to get your info. For those that are willing to deal with the trouble, enjoy your stuff, but it sounds like a way to waste precious freetime on something that isn't fun. I guess it's just for college students then. :lol

I think that the codes are on the outside of the packages and in the rules you it says that the purchase of the soft drink doesn't increase your chances of wining. So I think you can just go to the store and right down oll the codes on the outside of the packages and use those.
did you just feel like making this shit up? The codes are underneath the sealed cap like every single other code contest game.

No purchase necessarymeans you can send in a SASE and get a free code.

I didn't sign up for the notification because I knew when it started, I didn't know you got an extra code :(

EDIT:
Ill take dibs on the X360 from the person on GAF who inevitably wins this shit even though they don't want it and try to give it away in some sort of bizarre act of fanboy piety. it always happens

just went to my local 7-11, and the pepsi products there clearly weren't part of this promo (in Boston). Anyone seen these promo products anywhere else?

This isn't a scam.

Mt. Dew had a big promotion with Xbox last summer where you would collect codes that were worth a certain amount of points. The bigger the size Dew you purchased, the greater the point total for the code. Once you got a certain amount of points you could trade it in for Mt. Dew Gear, electronics and other stuff. One of the prizes you could purchase was an Xbox with Rallisport Challenge 2. They had 2000 of them, 500 of which were the Xboxes with an ultra-lime green Mt. Dew case. It was ugly as fuck, but I won one of them and turned around and sold it on ebay for $400.00.

You could also buy a crapload of the codes off ebay and I'm sure you'll be able to do that for this promotion also.

Both my wife and I got a free code this morning in our yahoo email accounts, so getting them won't be that hard.

Is there anything that Microsoft won't copy from Apple?

*cough* win an ipod every hour with pepsi *cough*

does it say if it's the retard pack or the DELUX one? i am not seeing it if it does.

And the world will never know.

:lol

Funny are you the first person to bring this up? Cause it was the first thing i was thinking after poking the site last night.

No one said this was a scam, they said the freexbox.com thing was, which is debateable but that is irrelevant.

I wonder I should use this code I just got on a cap now before the contest gets saturated or wait like a day so i am no longer competing with a majority of the folks who got e-mail notification codes?

I guess in the end the different time slots are not going to have signifficantly different odds since a fair number of people are going to toggle through all the possibilities and put theirs in the slot with the least amount of entrants at that time. they will mostly even out in the end IMO

Go to the link below and finsh a refferal and have 8 friends do the same. Its alot easier then this thing IMO if you got 8 friends willing.

heh, I did the exact same thing. Should have held onto it until the Xbox shortage and probably gotten twice that but hey, $400 is still $400.

It was but I edited it off

@nerever I thought you were talking about the other website I posted. I dont know if its the non-retard pack for the other. Sorry about the confusion.

Here in Chicago, I saw the "Every 10 Minutes" labels on 20 oz.Pepsi bottles at every store I was at today.

Trying to formulate my strategty. It's either...

A) Save a bunch up, and enter them in mass for a drawing every once in a while increasing my chances of winning that particular drawing.

B) Enter them literally every ten minute interval that I can, so I have a smallchance in a lot of drawings

Ironically enough, one of my buddy's cousins that also goes to my school (well, former High School, I'm graduated now), won one of The Hulk Xbox's from Mountain Dew. The kid is such a dirt bag too. He steals Xbox's from Walmart and sells them cheap, never showers, smokes the cheeb...Yet he won a Hulk Xbox from Mt. Dew :lol

Which verison will one get if they win?

With the outrageous prices for the systems, games, and accessories the only way I'll get any next generation system is through these contests. :(

Nobody knows.

I'm guessing its the retard pack.

I'll take a retard pack because it'll still save me money in the long run even if I have to upgrade it. I was planning on buying a premium version anyway. I'll take the retard pack for free and spend $150 for the hard drive and wireless controller over spending $400 for the premium version.

Great, I live in Merrillville Indiana, I'm sure they were here as well

what notification did you sign up for?

notification of the start of the contest. If you refer someone they get the same email with a free code of their own and they can refer people too

DaddyZ said:
i cant find it...can i get a link to the referral?

well, you cant sign up for notification anymore as the contest has already started :)

PM me your email and I will send you a referral

edit: actually, just try this

I'm pretty sure its the premium verison as they refer to it as "Xbox 360™ system" the retard pack is the "Xbox 360™ core system"

Also, the FAQ says you can play xbox games on it.

What in God's name is that?

i got my own referral, and i notice everytime i use the code they give me it says, " session timed out". I dont know why it says that, but i think its because i didnt originally sign up before the countdown started.

GaimeGuy said:
Hey guys, let's just continue sending referrals back and forth with each other. There's only like a couple hundred entries every 10 minutes, anyways.

My emails:

Give me your email and I'll make a referral for you.

How do you do a referral on every10minutes? anyway.

I did...

This doesn't look good. It seems only one referral per email gets sent. :/

So much for that theory.

Fine I'll buy some flippin soda haha
Gimme some of your codes, too. ^_^

... I have an idea. Maybe I'll just make like 50 different hotmail and gmail accounts. heh

Dumbass Canadian won the 2:20 am contest. Too bad he won't be getting an Xbox 360 since the contest is only open to the U.S. I feel bad for the people that got screwed for that drawing since somebody entered ..and won, who wasn't even eligible.

Bah, I wish I had some damn codes. The first day or two will probably have the fewest people entering per drawing. Seems like it's about under 700 per drawing so far, which are really good odds. I bet towards the end there'll be like 2000+ per drawing, with people stockpiling their codes.

If you have a domain name you can just forward *@domain to your e-mail and make inifinite referrals.

I get that sometimes, just hit refresh till it goes through

Is there anything in the rules about that being illegal? Do you think they'll catch on and remove all your entries?
