Every Ubisoft Game and System Goes Offline For Several Hours

Ubisoft has confirmed that every game and system it owns will be offline for several hours today, but nobody knows why.

This was indicated by a post on social media raised just ten minutes before the outage kicked in. The notification gave players almost no time to prepare before all games blinked offline, disrupting sessions worldwide.

A big publisher like ubisoft going under would be the perfect fieldtest to what will happen to our game librarys if ubisoft does not bother to provide offline patches for games like the 2 latest ghost recon's, i hope there would be enough outcry that at least the european union would push for reformed laws in software ownership.

Also when you launch your first Ubisoft game on steam it automatically installs the Ubisoft Connect on your hard drive, I don't think even EA does that.
