sorry if old. very good thing to watch.

Reggie is very calm and down to earth. he talks about Iwata's speech. talks about DS playing games over the internet. He also comments on J. Allards speech, said it was good, but Reggie says what he feels about the new Xbox, that Allard's Speech and the new Xbox was all about processing power. but that Revolution will be very powerful also thanks to ATI and IBM (also making the new Xbox) .......

Now, our system will truly be powerful...yaknow..ATI and IBM are fantastic partners, they make fantastic product, and certainly Revolution will be substantially more powerful, than all of the systems on the market today. but that's only part of the story.

hmmmm :)

Whats this "super premium edition" of LoZ he hinted at? :D

Well EGM said that there's a preorder bonus where they've remade TWW but with the next Zelda's graphical style. So maybe that's it. *crosses fingers*

WTF? "Super Premium version of Legend of Zelda"

What else can they offer at this point?

Wait...Nooooooooooooooooooo!

well... those would be the only games left for re-release ;) but I can't even imagine what they would have in a "super premium" pack. i already want it though.

i've actually thought of that, what about a graphical remake of the first game? I had always thought they'd do it for GBA, but hey if that was a preorder/collectors edition bonus, i'd be all for it.

You don't think super deluxe version of Zelda might mean that they actually ARE designing the game to play better on revolution, do you???

I mean, writing a slightly altered codebase that can identify which system you're on wouldn't really hog up extra space on its own (more textures obviously would), but what if the game really was scalable? We've heard whispers of it, but what a "the shit" feature.

You know what Fukin pisses me off about Nintendo's PR speeches being a fan is that they tend to call EVERY DAMN THING THEY DO "Innovative". This is turn discredits the shit they do that Really IS innovative they bring to market. There are great things about DS that will never be seen before in this industry that is a fact but when Reggie implied that doing something as simple as releasing "New Colors" of DS as Innovation it pisses me off. Maybe I misunderstood him but in general I know Nintendo throws around that word waaaay too lightly and always ends up biting them in the ass in the Western Markets perception of them being full of hot air.

They need to make sure that when they use the word innovation that it Really applies to whatever they are trying to bring foward and not just their "opinion" of what innovation is to them. Am I alone in thinking this?

Reggie's just doing too many PR interviews to keep his shit strait. I'm sure Nintendo doesn't actually think that the new DS colors are innovative.

After listening to that interview, my expectations of a new GBE being revealed at E3 are 0 percent. He pretty much confirms a new GBA that incorporates Play Yan. He goes on about how something like this should be incorporated into a unit in the west, and the other things it should have included (Like a free song or two to strart). Didn't sound like anything that was just coming from the top of his head.
