Some members of the (far-right) political party Vlaams Belang have organised an 'exorcism' in the Brussels Parliament last year.

If anyone cares, I'll try to tell you the story in short (more important parts highlighted so you don't have to read this wall of text.)
It all started when Tanguy Veys (Vlaams Belang member) tweeted: "For the first time I'm present at an #exorcism. #Leo XIII. Pius X." Someone saw this tweet and asked him about it, when he responded: "Catholic ritual according to pope Leo XIII. Done by a priest, Latin text, crucifix, holy water. That's it." However, he didn't go on about 'Pius X', which he mentioned in his previous tweet.
In 2010 they started a "pray group". Some catholic members of the Vlaams Belang were looking for a way to pray with other religious people from within their 'work area', aka the federal parliament. They tried to keep it secret because it's more or less forbidden to practice religion, especially in government buildings, which should be neutral.
June 14th, 2012 they organised an exorcism. Priest Eric Jacqmin arrived at the House of the Parliament members, dressed in black robes, ready to start the ceremony. Some younger Vlaams Belang members were present too, for example two twin brothers (Robin Vandenberghe and Rien) that are active in 'Pius X'. They participate in anti-abortion actions.
When contacted, only a few wanted to tell what happened. Some quotes:
"I can't remember what happened."
"I don't understand Latin."
"What happened then is none of your business."
Some participants are noticeably pissed about this. From Robin Vandenberghe's facebook page: "The deal we made last year held that this wouldn't get known."
He's blaming Tanguy Veys and this is what made it even more interesting/messed up: he referred to Tanguy Veys as "the guy who regularly visits the B'nai B'rth' (which is an ancient Jewish service organisation who's committed to the service and continuity of the Jewish people)
A lot of people in 'Pius X' hold the belief that the Jews are 'God murderers'. It's an organisation full of anti-Semites.
A recent example: there were some discussions between the Vatican and Pius X, because one of the bisshops (Richard Williamson) is a holocaust denier.
This is all kinds of messed up because this political party is always going on about the presence of religion (and especially Islam) in our country. They have stated multiple times that religion should be something private (see the ban of the headscarves) and that it shouldn't be seen in public. You might say that they did nothing wrong and it's sad that it 'leaked', but they're doing these things in our fucking government buildings. It's hypocritical and disgusting.
And maybe a little funny too.
