EXPO FIGHTER is a traditional 2D fighting game incorporating many of the systems that define the genre. Each fighter has a standardized amount of health and can use normal attacks and special attacks to deplete the health of their opponent.

HYPE GAUGE - Each fighter has a hype gauge they can fill by connecting with normal attacks or by performing special attacks. Hype Gauge can be used for HYPE ATTACKS or DENIALS

HYPE ATTACKS - Each fighter has Hype versions of their special attacks which cost Hype gauge to inherit new attributes such as invincibility or speed. Hype attacks can also be chain comboed into one another allowing a fighter to spend a lot of hype gauge in order to inflict a major amount of damage.

DENIALS - A fighter can use Hype Gauge defensively when they predict an opponents attack. A Denial will parry the opponents attack and allow the defending player to act immediately to counter attack.

Come try out the game fellow GAFfers! The game is a love letter to E3GAF and there will be many GAF easter eggs added. The game is a work in progress and there are a lot of updates to the game on the way so I will try to keep this post updated as new features are introduced.

Tried training mode with a 360 pad. Can't seem to move without jumping, and controls in general seemed kinda wonky. Looks like you put a lot of effort into it, though. Good job.

Yeah this tends to happen. You might have to calibrate your pad in windows before loading up the game. Then do the in game setup.

Has anyone tried out playing online? You can host a server and go into training while you wait for an opponent. I'd love some feedback on it.
