edit: Nevermind. Confused this with those shows along the lines of "The Swan". Still pretty fucked up, but it seems as though this one has decent enough intentions.

Any show that takes people who have low self esteem about their looks and fixes that with plastic surgery is a blight upon the world though, I stand by that.

That's the vibe I get, too. And it seems extreme makeover does more for the people they makeover, too. I really dislike The Swan.

I like the show, but the unveilings are always so lame. They walk out and everyone's expected to be surprised and happy. And if the person getting the makeover is a singer or a comedian they have to do their bit. Too sappy.
