Facebook and Twitter

I recently got my Twitter account linked to my Facebook profile.
This means that, whatever I post through Twitter, is posted in Facebook as well.

However, I'm concerned about flooding my Facebook profile.
I'd like to tweet all the silly things that come to my mind, but I'd like to be able to see posted in Facebook only the messages I want.

Is there a way to do that?


Alternatively, I could use a solution to see my Facebook messages posted in Twitter, but not my Twitter messages posted in Facebook.

Any idea?

I believe if you put an @ symbol at the beginning of your tweet, it won't go to Facebook because it will think you're replying to someone.

So sick of the phrase "Facebook and Twitter". I hate Twitter.

Well, I try to keep my Facebook profile just for actual friends.
I don't want them to be fed up with me posting (what they can think is) random crap (which I find very interesting, of course).

On the other hand, if someone follows me in Twitter, well, it's public, you know. :)
 
Disable it.

Use Digsby for something like this :/

(though I swear there was something set up where if you put in the hashtag #fb it would go to Facebook only)

Also look into something like http://twitterfeed.com (not sure what the options are, might be worth looking into)

How about NOT linking your Twitter account to your Facebook profile?

I follow a bunch of actors, writers, and various people in the tv and film industry that I like on twitter. Facebook is reserved for my friends and family.

Facebook- Communicating with friends.

Twitter- Reading random stuff on your cell phone... I usually use it for video game deals, sports updates, and gaming news.

I personally don't post random shit on twitter, I have an account just to follow people.
