Does anyone know if it's possible to transfer a Facebook group into the fan page format? The new Open Group layout is pretty nasty as it drops so many options that makes it difficult to interact with a community larger than 5. The fan page layout is more pleasing, but I haven't a clue how to transfer over.

Absolutely. Has been for a while, especially when I go to view a photo. It comes up then immediately disappears.

Guess I'll send Facebook an email then, since there's no way I'm grabbing the active community I have now in a new page.

Yeah, ever since they did the new chat and comment delete system a lot of things have been iffy with me. I've been getting phantom notifications, etc.

It is currently not possible to convert Facebook groups into Pages. We recommend that you create a Page and notify your group members about it. Note that you will not be able to send your group a message if your group has more than 5,000 members.

If you're using Chrome get the Facebook Photo Zoom extension. Saves a ton of time.
